It's a New Day!!

Today is a new day!
What will it have in store?
Only The Lord knows what each and everyday will bring us!
I have faith in The Lord to carry me through the days of my life!
He has never lead me into trouble or steered me wrong.
He brings a smile to my face and a song in my heart!
Each day is something new and exciting!
Sometimes things don't go as planned and that's ok.
What will today be like for you?
Will the day be happy or sad,will you be happy or mad?
No matter what happens today,know The Lord is in control and will carry you through!

Why Me?

Why do I get pushed around,set aside and sometimes knocked down?

I feel so alone in this world.

Like a stray cat or lost dog tiring to find his way home.

But,I must not fret or be afraid.

Stranded on an island in the middle of nowhere I sit by the shore side with a blank stare.

Will they ever notice that I am not there?

I may never find out but,I will always care.

Why not start right now!

Why not start right now on that new job,new lifestyle,new diet??

Really,what are we waiting for?

We are not getting any younger!

Life will pass us by if we just do nothing!!

So,why not start today??

I have poetry in my soul,and I need to let it flow.
It is like that song that plays in my mind on and on.
Like a song you can not figure out the title too!
I try to fight it really hard but,I must write it from my heart.
Poetry is the music of my life.
It gives my heart wings to fly.

The "Amy Grant" Side..

Everyone has an "Amy Grant "side to them.
What does that mean?
The "Amy Grant" side of someone is that person inside of them that is hidden.
Usually people don't show that side because they are afraid of being different.
For me the "Amy Grant" side is the Christian side of me.
It is that sweet innocent person inside that needs to come out but,doesn't always.
But,I have realized and you can as well, let your "Amy Grant" side out!
How great it feels to let that side of you show!
In conclusion,I try hard to let my "Amy Grant" side show alot,how about you?

Sundays

Sunday is a perfect day to take a break from the every week day schedule.

Sunday's growing up in my home were days of attending church and spending time as a family.

Today,I am grown up with my own family and we do things a little differently.

We attend church on Saturday night.

Sunday is our day of rest and family time.

Sometimes I wish everyday was Sunday for the simple fact we get to spend quality time together.

But,of course Monday must come and we must return to our busy schedule.

And that's ok.I rest assured that Sunday will come again soon!
